The latest residential housing market survey from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) revealed that sales, enquiries and instructions all continued to rise in August, with those working in the sector expecting this growth to continue.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, 83 per cent of those questioned predicted that demand for homes with gardens would increase in the coming two years.
